The partnership will enable enterprise customers to build and deploy fully immersive, interactive voice experiences that address more complex domain- and user-specific questions rather than the traditional method of ushering users through a curated list of prescribed questions along a linear dialog flow. Traditionally the platform harnesses unstructured knowledge from within an enterprise's data repository to create structured domain-specific knowledge graphs and components, and then form intelligent multilateral relations within them, which can be linked together at scale to construct meaningful replies relevant to what is being asked by the user. Through the integration with Tridion Docs, this is enhanced with the ability to use structured content which is already semantically enriched, to drive even more precise responses tailored to the domain and context of the query.
Voice recognition technology will be powered by AppTek's ASR featuring 4D for HLT (Human Language Technology) methodology, which accounts for the many dialects, domains, demographics, and devices/channels critical to capturing every voice when transcribing multilingual speech. The ASR can be adapted to better serve the domain-specific requirements of the enterprise, including accounting for noisy acoustic environments, non-standard terminology, recognition of hard-to-pronounce terms, user errors, and resolving canonical forms when passing speech information back to the platform.
